Terms and Conditions of Sale
DELIVERY/ PICK-UP MERCHANDISE- An authorized purchaser representative, of 18 years or older, must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign for receipt of merchandise. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that the installation area is clear and ready to receive the product. Delivery crew may not move, relocate, remove or dispose of old furniture, with the exception of old bedding in fair condition, upon request. Please inspect all merchandise upon receipt. Any damages to delivered merchandise must be noted on the delivery ticket at time of delivery. American Mattress Family is not liable for damage to merchandise not claimed at the time of delivery. To reschedule your delivery, please call during business hours no less than 1 day prior to your scheduled delivery date. Merchandise may be picked up at the store where purchased. All pick-up merchandise shall be claimed and inspected by the customer at the time of pick-up. Once inspected and accepted, the merchandise shall become the sole responsibility of the customer including but not limited to the carrying, loading, packaging and securing for further transport. Please come prepared with the necessary tools: proper vehicle, assistance, rope, packing materials, etc.
PAYMENTS- All orders must be paid in full 24 hours prior to pick-up or delivery. Personal checks will not be accepted to clear pre-delivery/pick-up balances. The delivery team will not handle payments.
FINAL SALE ITEMS/ CLOSEOUTS - All closeout sales are final. There are no returns and/or exchanges on any closeout merchandise. All closeout merchandise is sold AS IS, without warranties or services. Customer purchasing clearance items have the responsibility to inspect all items purchased.
100-DAY COMFORT EXCHANGE – After a break in a period of 30 days, customers have 100 days from the date of delivery to request a one time comfort exchange. Customers will receive a credit not exceeding the full amount paid, to be applied on another mattress selection. No refunds will be issued. Customer responsible to pay shipping cost of $75 and any difference on upgrades. Some items, such as closeouts, may not be eligible for comfort exchange. Only mattresses are eligible for the comfort exchange. Discounts applied on initial purchase will not be applied to comfort exchange. There are no exceptions to this policy. Product must be in “like new” condition without markings or damages to be eligible.
30-DAY RETURN POLICY/ CANCELLATION POLICY- Customers may elect to return product for a 50% refund for a period up to 30 days after product has been received. The customer has the option to request the pick up of said items for a one time $75 fee. Product must be in “like new” condition without markings or damages to be eligible.
Orders may be canceled prior to delivery or pickup, subject to a 25% restocking fee.
WARRANTY CLAIMS ASSISTANCE: Customers may request the assistance of the American Mattress Family in filing a claim with the appropriate manufacturer. For a non-refundable $75 fee, American Mattress Family will perform service calls and/or redelivery as required. Payment of this fee does not insure claim approval. A copy of the sales receipt is required to file a claim. See Manufacture warranty for details.
